A Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up an Inflatable Hot Tub

Setting up your RELXTIME inflatable hot tub is simple when you follow the right steps. Before you begin, choose a suitable location and make sure the spa is properly inflated, filled, and ready for use.

Before You Start

Choose a firm, flat surface without sharp objects and place a floor mat underneath the spa.

Make sure the ambient temperature is above 39.2°F (4°C). The package should also be kept above 59°F (15°C) for at least 2 hours before unboxing.

Do not install or use the spa when the ambient temperature is below 39.2°F (4°C).

1. Unpack and Lay Out the Spa

Unbox the spa at the selected location and lay out all parts on the ground.

Check that all required parts are included before starting the installation.

2. Inflate the Spa

Unfold the spa on the prepared surface.

Connect the inflation hose to the air outlet and the air inlet on the spa. Press the BUBBLE button to inflate the spa for approximately 8–10 minutes.

The upper edge should still be able to be pressed in approximately 4–5 cm (1.57–1.97 inches) with the palm of your hand.

Once inflated, turn off the BUBBLE function, remove the hose, and tighten the air valve cap.

3. Prepare the Water Connections

Before filling the spa, make sure the power cable is not connected to the power supply.

Check that the water outlet connections are properly sealed. Install the filter cartridges by turning them clockwise and place the filter covers over them.

4. Fill the Spa

Fill the spa with water between the MIN and MAX water levels.

Do not overfill the spa, as the water level will rise when people enter the spa.

Do not use rainwater, surface water, seawater, or salt water to fill the spa.

5. Start Heating

Once the water reaches the minimum water level, you can start the heating system and set your desired temperature.

The spa typically heats the water by approximately 1–1.5°C (2–3°F) per hour, depending on the starting water temperature and ambient temperature.

In cold weather, heating can take approximately 12–24 hours.
