If your RELXTIME inflatable hot tub looks well inflated during the day but appears slightly deflated overnight, this is usually caused by changes in temperature.
As temperatures drop at night, the air inside the spa contracts, making the spa look less inflated. When temperatures rise again during the day, the air expands and the spa may look more inflated.
This is a normal characteristic of inflatable spas and does not necessarily mean that your spa has an air leak.
Why Does My Spa Look Different at Night?
The air inside your spa responds to changes in temperature.
At night, colder temperatures can cause the air inside the spa to contract. As a result, the spa may look softer or less inflated.
During the heat of the day, especially around midday, warmer temperatures cause the air to expand. The spa may then appear more inflated.
It is therefore normal for the appearance of your spa to change between nighttime and daytime.
Should I Add More Air?
If your spa looks slightly less inflated because of colder temperatures, you can add some air as necessary.
If your spa is already filled with water, follow these steps:

Press the “BUBBLE” button once and wait 4–5 minutes.

Open the air outlet located above the filter-heating element and screw on the inflation hose.

Open the air valve (black screw cap) on the spa shell and connect the inflation hose.

Press the “BUBBLE” button to inflate the spa.

Stop inflating when the upper edge can still be pressed in approximately 4–5 cm (1.57–1.97 inches) with the palm of your hand.

Do not over-inflate the spa.
What About Hot Weather?
During hot weather, the air inside the spa expands. In midday heat or direct sunlight, the spa may become over-inflated.
When temperatures reach 25°C (77°F) or above, RELXTIME recommends releasing a small amount of air and keeping the spa at approximately 90–95% of its maximum capacity.
When Should I Check for an Air Leak?
If your spa continues to lose air, check the tightness of the black/gray air valve screw connection.
If the air loss continues, spray soapy water over the PVC body of the spa. Bubbles can help identify the location of an air leak.
