How to Fix a RELXTIME Hot Tub That Is Not Heating Properly

If your RELXTIME hot tub is heating slowly or cannot reach the maximum temperature of 104°F (40°C), check the following possible causes and solutions.

1. Check the Temperature Setting

Make sure the desired water temperature is set correctly. The temperature can be set between 68°F and 104°F (20°C–40°C).

2. Reset the Hot Tub

Reset the hot tub to restore its initial operating parameters.

3. Use the Insulation Cover

Make sure the hot tub is properly covered during heating. Using an insulation cover can help reduce heat loss and improve heating efficiency.

4. Check the Filter Cartridge

A dirty or clogged filter cartridge can affect water flow and heating efficiency.

Check the filter cartridge and replace it if necessary. Make sure the water inlet and outlet are not blocked.

The Heater May Stop Temporarily

Once the water reaches the set temperature, the heater will stop working automatically.

The heater will start again when the water temperature drops approximately 35.6°F (2°C) below the set temperature.

If this happens, wait a few minutes for the heater to restart automatically.
