If your RELXTIME hot tub displays FP, the spa may be in Freeze Protection Mode.
What Is FP Mode?
FP stands for Freeze Protection Mode. It is designed to help protect the spa when the water temperature becomes too low.
When FP Mode is active, the filter pump runs continuously. If the water temperature drops below 41°F (5°C), the heating function automatically turns on to keep the water temperature above 41°F (5°C).
How to Cancel FP Mode
To return the spa to its normal operating state:
- Press the Temperature button.
- Press the Up button.
- The panel will display 68°F (20°C).
- The spa will then return to its normal state.
Important Warnings
Do not use the FP function if the pool water is frozen or below 32°F (0°C). Forcing the FP function to operate under these conditions may cause irreversible damage to the motor block.
In FP mode, the filter pump will continue to operate. Please pay attention to the condition and use of the filter. Prolonged overload use of the filter may affect product life and cause damage.
