eeping your RELXTIME hot tub water clean requires proper filtration, regular filter replacement, and appropriate water treatment.
If the water is cloudy, dirty, or does not look clean, check the following.
1. Increase Filtering Time
Insufficient filtration can affect water quality.
If the water is not clean, try increasing the filtering time to allow the filtration system to remove more impurities from the water.
2. Check and Replace the Filter Cartridge
A dirty or clogged filter cartridge can reduce filtration performance.
Check the filter cartridge regularly and clean or replace it when necessary.
For optimal filtration performance, we recommend replacing the filter cartridge every 168 hours (approximately 2 weeks) of use.

3. Use Appropriate Water Treatment
If filtration alone does not keep the water clean, use appropriate water treatment products designed for hot tubs.
Always add chemicals carefully and follow the instructions provided by the chemical manufacturer.
Incorrect chemicals or excessive chemical concentrations may damage the spa's PVC material, seals, filtration system, or heating components.
Avoid chemical purifiers that contain calcium ions, as they can contribute to scale buildup.
4. Change the Water Regularly
If you are not using chemical water treatment, the water should be changed every 3 days.
We recommend using tap water when filling your spa to minimize unwanted substances such as minerals.
5. What Should You Not Put in the Spa?
Do not use the following in your RELXTIME hot tub:
- Bath salts
- Rainwater
- Surface water
- Seawater
- Oils
These products can affect water quality and may damage the spa or its components.
In particular, salt can accumulate in the filter pump and heating element, which may cause overloading and faster component wear.
Some substances may also react with chlorine or other common chemicals and create harmful gases or chemical burns.
Warning: Use only water treatment products that are suitable for inflatable hot tubs. Never mix chemicals unless instructed by the chemical manufacturer.
