If your RELXTIME hot tub is losing water, first identify where the leak is coming from. Start by checking the drain plug and water connections before looking for damage to the spa body.
1. Check the Drain Plug and Water Connections
Before filling the hot tub, make sure the drain plug, filter connection, inlet, and outlet are properly tightened.
Drain Plug
Check the sealing plug at the bottom of the spa.
If the drain plug is loose, press the drainage bung tightly to secure it. Then check whether the leak has stopped.
Inlet, Outlet and Filter Connections
If water is leaking around the inlet, outlet, or filter connection, check that the connections are properly aligned and tightened.
Use the wrench provided with your hot tub to tighten the connections if necessary. Make sure they are not cross-threaded.
If water is leaking from the inlet or outlet inside the spa, remove the connection with the provided wrench and check whether the round plastic film at the bottom is misaligned or wrinkled.
For connections outside the spa, check that the sealing ring is properly positioned and the screw cap is tightened by hand.

2. Check the Spa Body
If the connections are secure but water is still leaking from the spa body, check the seams and surface for a tear or puncture.
You can use soapy water to help locate the leak. Spray the suspected area and check for bubbles.

If you find a tear or puncture:

3. Check Under the Control Unit
If you notice water leaking from the control unit, do not attempt to open or repair it yourself.
The control unit contains internal electrical and water components. A leak may involve internal pipes, seals, or other components that require professional handling.
Stop using the hot tub and contact RELXTIME Support. Our support team will help determine the appropriate solution, which may include replacing the control unit.
