How to Clean Your RELXTIME Inflatable Hot Tub in 7 Easy Steps
Regular cleaning helps keep your RELXTIME inflatable hot tub looking fresh and helps maintain clean, comfortable water. When it is time to drain and clean your spa, follow these seven simple steps.
1. Remove Dirt and Debris
Before draining your hot tub, remove any leaves, dirt, or other debris from the water.
Use a skimmer or small net to collect anything floating on the surface. Removing debris first helps prevent it from entering the filter or drain during cleaning.
2. Check and Treat the Water
If the water quality has started to decline before draining, follow the instructions for your chosen water treatment products and allow the water to circulate properly.
This can help reduce buildup inside the spa before you empty it.
3. Drain the Water
Turn off and unplug the hot tub before draining.
Remove the filter and any accessories that need to be taken out before draining. Connect the drain hose to the drain outlet and direct the water to a suitable drainage area.
Allow the water to drain completely before continuing with the cleaning process.
4. Clean the Pump and Connections
Once the water has been drained, check the pump connections and surrounding areas for dirt or debris.
Wipe the outside of the pump with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid spraying water or cleaning products directly onto the electrical components.
Make sure the connections and surrounding areas are clean and dry before reconnecting the system.
5. Clean the Hot Tub Liner
The liner can collect dirt, waterline marks, body oils, and other residue over time.
Rinse the inside and outside of the liner with clean water, then wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and gently clean the affected area.
Always rinse away any soap residue thoroughly before filling the spa again.
When cleaning or moving the spa, avoid dragging the liner across the ground, as this can damage the material.
Tip: Pay extra attention to the waterline, bottom of the spa, and areas around the air jets where dirt and residue can accumulate.
6. Clean the Cover
The hot tub cover is exposed to outdoor conditions and can collect dust, dirt, water droplets, and residue from normal use.
Wipe both the top and underside of the cover with a soft, damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly.
Allow the cover to dry completely before putting it back on the hot tub.
7. Clean or Replace the Filter
The filter plays an important role in keeping your hot tub water clean.
Rinse the filter cartridge thoroughly with clean water to remove dirt and debris. If the filter is worn, damaged, or heavily discolored, replace it with a new one.
RELXTIME recommends checking the filter regularly and replacing it when needed based on its condition and usage. The system also has a 168-hour filtration reminder.

Keep Your RELXTIME Hot Tub Clean
Regular maintenance does not need to be complicated. Removing debris, keeping the liner and cover clean, maintaining the filter, and taking care of water quality can help keep your RELXTIME inflatable hot tub ready for everyday relaxation.
For best results, give your hot tub a quick check after each use and clean it more thoroughly when changing the water.
